Integrity successfully audited to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) standard.
Integrity Print have been successfully audited to the British Retail Consortium (BRC) standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials Category 2 at their Midsomer Norton based Labels division.
The BRC standard is increasingly becoming a prerequisite for suppliers to the food and drink industry and was seen as a business critical objective.
The standard primarily covers hygiene in the workplace and requires a fundamental review of the whole business process from order specification to delivery, and complements Integrity’s existing ISO9001 (Quality), ISO14001 (Environmental) and ISO27001 (Information Security) standards.
Details of the standard can be found on www.brcglobalstandards.com/GlobalStandards/Standards/Packaging
During the last two years Integrity Print have invested over £1m in the labels business, adding a six unit Arsoma press in January 2011 and a Xeikon digital press in 2010. This has broadened their label print capability to a wide range of markets, including long run plain, high colour flexo, short run digital, bar-coded and variable data labels. The achievement of the BRC standard is an important step in ensuring that Integrity are able to offer a comprehensive trade service to all sectors of the market.
