Acquisition of A1 Trade Print Services.

Acquisition of A1 Trade Print Services

MCAARP Holdings, the company that owns Integrity Print, and more recently Mooreforms Ltd, announced that it had acquired A1 Trade Print Services Ltd on Friday 16th December 2011.

A1 Trade Print Services has a turnover of £6m and employs 60 people at its Birmingham site. The company is a leading supplier of security print and integrated cards and labels, operating as a trade only business, sharing a number of the same customers and with similar markets to Integrity Print, which has a turnover of £61m and employs 400 people at its Midsomer Norton site.

A1 Trade Print’s existing Managing Director Jim Richardson will run the business, reporting in to Mark Cornford, Chief Executive of MCAARP Holdings. While Mark Jones, former Chief Executive of A1 Trade Print, will leave the company to pursue other business interests.

Both companies believe that there are significant synergies between them that will bring benefits to all clients.

The deal has been fully supported by Investec Bank plc, who provided the finance for the original management buy out of Integrity Print in 2008

Mark Cornford commented “This is a critical part of our strategy to strengthen our position in the market, broaden our overall service offering and ensure that the long term prospects for our business remain positive in difficult economic circumstances.”
