Integrity Print has enjoyed an extremely busy autumn and is continuing to invest in people and equipment.
Integrity Print is a £58m turnover business, employing 385 people across two sites in Midsomer Norton, Somerset. The company specialises in the production of business print and communications through its network of trade brokers and print management clients.
Integrity Print has enjoyed an extremely busy autumn and is continuing to invest in people and equipment to support growth in both new and existing markets.
September saw Integrity Print launch a transactional mailing facility at its site in Farrington. The site has been accredited to C&CCC’s standards (previously APACS), allowing the printing and infilling of cheques, and has also been awarded Royal Mail Mailing House Scheme status. Investment has been made in a Kalmar mailing line and additional mono laser capacity.
Early uptake of the service has been excellent with a number of daily, weekly and monthly contracts being secured.
Andrew Law, Commercial Manager, commented "We identified that there was demand amongst our existing clients for a secure mailing service for high value documents, and we have been delighted by their support and interest."
Four additional staff have been recruited in November to support the rapid growth and development of the mailing facility.
Further investment has also been made at Farrington with the arrival of a Konica Minolta digital press offering duplex four colour print and in line folding and booklet making. Using existing data skills Integrity have been able to offer clients some innovative white paper solutions and variable colour image printing, including some short run transpromo work, dovetailing neatly with the mailing service being offered.
The main Westfield site has seen an influx of new faces as the account management infrastructure has been strengthened to cope with business growth and to support sales development of new products. Emma Tamea and Keith Anderson have joined the Transactional account management team, while Matt Drew rejoins the business as an Account Manager. Jane Padfield joins us from CFH to support continued sales growth in the Security division.
Integrity were also successful in bidding for a Tamarack line after the closure of Centrereed and this has now been installed and is in full production in the company’s Special Finishing division. The Tamarack was seen as a valuable investment to sustain growth in the integrated labels, cards and permits market and to maintain competitive lead times.
Commenting on Integrity’s recent activity managing director Mark Cornford said "It is vital that we sell our way through this difficult market. While we are never complacent we keep striving to improve our business and will continue to invest in people and equipment that takes us into new products and new markets"
