Integrity Print Sponsors Butleigh Village Cricket Club

By News

Integrity Print is pleased to sponsor Butleigh Village’s cricket club.

The sponsorship will last for 3 years, starting in 2023 and ending in 2025. Counting 60 members of the club, players will wear the Integrity logo on their sleeves as they take part in upcoming fixtures.

Following some excellent results last year, the club was promoted from playing in the Somerset Premier League to now playing in the West of England Premier League’s Somerset Division. This means their future games will be played at an even higher, more competitive level.

Butleigh is a small village, near the towns of Street and Glastonbury. The village is home to many friendly faces that enjoy the sport of cricket, football, and rugby just as they enjoy tending to their farm animals and the great outdoors.

“We have lived in this beautiful village for over 20 years, and I have always admired the many well-run sports clubs and societies that the village has. Integrity has sponsored Butleigh Cricket Club for a number of years now, it is a vibrant, successful and inclusive club that I am keen to encourage to develop and grow.”

Integrity Print Sponsors Westfield FC

By News

Integrity Print is pleased to sponsor Westfield FC’s first custom-designed training kit, which will be used across all three of their adult section teams. The kit will be worn twice a week at training sessions and worn before each match. The sponsored period will run for 2 years, 2022/23 & 2023/24.

Established in 1976, Westfield has grown considerably, with the introduction of Junior football in 2001, and Senior football in 2008. Today, the club stands strong with twelve teams in total. The sponsored men’s teams play their matches on Saturdays, in part of the Somerset County League and mid-Somerset and Bath & District Leagues. Westfield FC now has ten youth teams, and three men’s teams, giving 230 players the chance to partake in the exciting, and enjoyable environment of football.

Being able to support local teams in Midsomer Norton, in which we are based, is something Integrity has always been enthusiastic about. We believe we can perform better as a team when Integrity’s people – colleagues, friends, and family – can all have the chance to enjoy themselves when going out on to the field and playing competitive sport. The club is a community-based one, and knowing that we assist in keeping the club open for all aspiring players is something we take pride in.

The UK is currently going through trying times as well. With the fallout of Covid still with us, alongside increased pressures of the rising cost of living, it comes as no surprise that members of our community may be struggling with their mental health. With this sponsorship that helps contribute to making these games possible, we hope to see people improve their well-being by being able to play and watch football with their loved ones.

To all Westfield players taking part, we wish you the best of luck this season!

Labels Plus Donates For National Three Peaks Challenge

By News

Labels Plus, a division of the Integrity Group, is pleased to be making a donation to The National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA). Tom Crellin, husband of Labels Plus sales manager Emmie Barton, is undertaking the National Three Peaks Challenge on 10th September to raise funds for the charity.

NACOA is a Bristol-based charity founded in 1990, that addresses the needs of children growing up in families where one or both parents suffer from alcoholism or a similar addictive problem. They work to support children that are more likely to experience family violence, neglect, and other problems in their homes due to alcohol.

For many years Tom had worked in the licence trade and has seen first-hand how alcohol has affected families. It is also something that Tom has experienced first-hand in his family. This being something close to his heart, Tom wanted to take on this challenge to help support the charity.

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England, and Wales, which are all completed within 24 hours. Through walking up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowden, Tom will be undertaking a huge trek that will challenge him to achieve 23 miles (37km) of total walking distance and a total ascent of 3,064 metres (10,052 ft)!

Paul Wilson, Managing Director for Labels Plus, comments:
“We would like to donate to Tom & his chosen charity as we feel it is a worthy cause often overlooked. During the lockdown, NACOA has suffered funding cuts, despite receiving an extra 3,000 calls a year from children affected by alcohol issues. We feel strongly about supporting every child to have the right to a happy childhood and to live a creative and meaningful life. Supporting one of our manager’s loved ones in this admirable challenge was something we were more than happy to help with.”

Labels Plus is a recognised and well-respected self-adhesive label supplier. With offices based in Bath, Suffolk, and the High Peak, the brand is now synonymous with industry-leading quality and outstanding customer service. Operating for 25 years, Labels Plus is proud to continue supplying high-quality custom labels for clients in over thirty countries worldwide.

Labels Plus and the rest of the Integrity Group wish Tom the best of luck in taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge and achieving his donation target!

Integrity Sponsors Outfield Festival 2022

By News

Integrity Print is proud to be sponsoring this year’s Outfield Festival in Midsomer Norton in August.

Outfield Festival is a family-friendly, one-day music festival. It is held to raise financial support for Midsomer Norton Cricket Club as well as bring together the community for a celebration of music and family fun.  The event is held with multiple activities fit for all ages, including under 16’s silent disco, glitter and face painting, balloon modelling, crafts, and Under 5’s soft play areas.

The day’s music performances are filled with plenty of great acts to enjoy. This year’s headline act will be Scouting for Girls, supported by Gabriel Templar, Mesh, Irie Fire, and more special guests.

Keith Anderson, a key committee member for Outfield, and one of the festival’s organisers, comments:

We’re now nearing our second festival after the first sell-out festival in 2019.  Despite COVID delaying it 2 years running, we’re gaining momentum and have a bigger and better festival lined up for 2022.  As part of the growth of the festival, we’re delighted to have RUH X (formerly Forever Friends) partnering with Outfield Festival and Integrity Print sponsoring the festival.

As the biggest local employer, it’s great to work with Integrity in providing a good quality original music festival putting money back into the local community in Midsomer Norton.”

Over the past two years, the events industry has been particularly hard-hit by the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, leaving venues empty, artists struggling, and fans unable to celebrate the things they love the most. Integrity is delighted to play a part in the revival of this summer’s festivals and help bring our local community together once more. As part of the sponsorship, Integrity will be providing a donation to help support Midsomer Norton Cricket Club, as well as some promotional materials.

Outfield Festival will take place on the Sunday 28th of August during the bank holiday weekend in August.  You can buy tickets through the website.

Alliance Labels Sponsors The Lee Taylor Memorial Rugby Match

By News

In May, Alliance Labels – a division of Integrity Print Ltd – sponsored a Cardiff memorial rugby match, as a means of honouring the memory of Lee Taylor, former Cardiff and District youth coach, and father to Scott Taylor, a member of the Alliance Labels team.

Lee Taylor sadly passed away in early 2020 after a short battle with neuroendocrine cancer. During this time, Lee was cared for by Neuroendocrine Cancer UK (NCUK); the charity offers support and advice for cancer patients and their families at any stage of the condition. From initial diagnosis to later stages of the illness, NCUK offers guidance on being prepared, getting the best care, what treatments are available, support for emotional wellbeing, and much more.

To honour his memory, and to thank the charity that helped care for him, Lee’s family organised the memorial rugby match, which took place at Cardiff Arms Park on 14th May. This match was held to celebrate Lee’s life and his passion for the sport.

Several local businesses came together to sponsor the match. Alliance Labels provided sponsorship for the match balls displaying their new logo. The match saw Cardiff and District Select XV, competing in a thrilling encounter against St. Joseph’s Select XV.

Lee was very well known on the Cardiff rugby scene, having played the role of both player, and then later coach, for almost all his adult life. Through family and friends, Lee also had close links with many of the household names in Welsh rugby; he was a popular and highly regarded figure in the local rugby community – a fact that was evidenced by the overwhelming support received on the day.

Matchday was hailed a great success by players and supporters alike. After a tough battle, Cardiff and District Select XV emerged victorious with a 22-15 win over St Joseph’s. Over one thousand people attended the event, which also included an auction of sporting memorabilia, donations at the doors, and a raffle. Boosted by sponsorship from Alliance Labels, Lee’s family reached an incredible fundraising total of £9,500 for NCUK.

Lee Taylor was a beloved member of the community and a passionate player of the sport. Alliance Labels hopes that they helped in some small way to help to honour Lee’s legacy.

Alliance Labels are dedicated label printers, based in the heart of Cardiff, South Wales. They specialise in high-quality bespoke labels that are made to suit a variety of applications and are committed to offering the best of personal customer service to their clients.

How Integrity Supports Employee Mental Health

By News

As we mark Mental Health Awareness Week on 9th-15th May, we shine a light on how Integrity supports its employees’ mental health, and our partnership with The Printing Charity – the only charity focussed on supporting people in the print sector.

According to mental health charity Mind, at least one in six workers is experiencing common mental health problems, including anxiety and depression.

The Health, Safety and Environment Manager of Integrity’s Westfield site, Dave Gill, recently spoke to The Printing Charity to discuss how Integrity supports its employees with their mental wellbeing

“Two years ago, the subject of mental health was raised by one of our Health & Safety committee. They suggested we needed to look at what we were doing to support the wellbeing of our employees.”

“As a result of this, we found a company that could train some of our staff to become Mental Health First Aiders. Twelve team members attended the two-day course to help them recognise and support colleagues with any mental health issues in the workplace.”

“The initiative has been embraced by the whole company, so much so we are running a second session this summer, with another 10 people putting themselves forward. This will mean that over 10% of the workforce on our Westfield site will be trained Mental Health First Aiders.”

Another layer of support

Integrity has also signed up to The Printing Charity’s free and confidential helpline, offering its employees access to practical and emotional support from trained advisers and counsellors.

As Dave explained, adding this extra layer of support means Integrity staff can seek a range of support at any time; “We went out to look for some further support for our employees and came across The Printing Charity’s Helpline via the BPIF. It’s really important we recognise there will be times that our work-life balance might not be so great, so supplementing our own mental health training with access to the charity’s helpline means our employees can seek help when they need it most, helping them to feel more valued.”

Always doing more

Being aware of each other is a value about which Integrity has always been passionate. We believe that we perform better as a team and as a business when all our people are healthy, focused, and motivated. This is why the mental wellbeing of all Integrity’s people – colleagues, friends, family – is of the upmost importance to us, and we will continue to promote our message of positive mental health and offer support to our people at all times.

However, our support goes beyond Integrity’s people; we have always looked to have a positive influence on our local, and indeed wider community. In 2021, Integrity staff organised a fundraising event to raise awareness around mental health in support of Mind, whose campaigns are aimed to help those who are struggling with their mental health, and promote a deeper understanding of traditionally stigmatised issues.

Whether it’s charity bike ridessponsoring local sports teamsplanting treesfundraising for the NHS, or launching environmental initiatives, Integrity has continually supported projects, people, and organisations that share our values and have a beneficial impact on our community.

Integrity Print Sponsors Swansea University’s Cricket Matches

By News

Integrity Print is proud to sponsor Swansea University’s Cricket Club Women’s and Men’s teams, as they played in the Welsh Varsity 2022 matches, which took place at Ynystawe Cricket Club for the Women’s team and St Helens’ Rugby and Cricket Ground for the Men’s team last month. Integrity Print’s logo can be found on the team’s kit, while their banner bears the logo of Integrity’s newest division: Integrity Cymru.

Prys Jenkins, Integrity Cymru’s MD, describes the newest division:
“Integrity Cymru is the group’s newest division for Welsh operations. It supports its partners to communicate in the most effective and targeted way to its customer base. Our customer-centric approach is geared towards ensuring we deliver value, return on investments and both meaningful and responsive outcomes. The business prides itself on understanding customers’ unique journeys and delivering excellence in everything that we do. Our goal is to help organisations elevate and deliver real and tangible value as a strategic part of their decision making.”

Varsity sports involve the main or first teams of a college or university competing against each other in a variety of different sports, often leading to intense rivalries and outstanding engagement.

The Women’s team played in their fixture against Cardiff University on Tuesday 27th of April. Throughout the day, they batted magnificently and bowled accurately, and after a hard-fought battle, they were victorious. The Swansea Men’s Team played the following day and despite an excellent effort from all involved, Cardiff University secured the win.

Many at Integrity Print are passionate about sport and were pleased to be able to contribute to the success and excitement of the Varsity matches.

Integrity Print’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Cornford, comments:
“My daughter Grace is in her second year of Swansea University, and she is a keen cricketer. She is a senior player on the team and I wanted to be able to show my support for her and her teammates. The other connection is that I attended Swansea Uni 1984-87, played rugby, and witnessed a superb sporting culture and some outstanding achievements whilst there. Swansea University remains very strong in rugby and sport in general.

We at Integrity support and encourage health and well-being, team sports, endeavour, a celebration of success, and lessons learned in life and sport. I wanted to give a bit back to my old Uni, show my support to Grace and at the same time use the sponsorship in some small way to raise the profile of Integrity Cymru.”

Well done to all involved in these games, we wish you the best of luck in your next year!
